AIM Custom Trike - The Tuk Tuk  (2009)
Beginning its 3500 mile Adventure on 9/26/08 - PHOTO ALBUM

Art In Motion, LLC will be driving the first-ever Trike in the 2008 Fireball Run - a transcontinental adventure to recover America’s missing.  The event starts in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and will zigzag through the coolest parts of America to finish in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Each team makes the journey with an assigned missing child whose image & stats are affixed to the vehicle- creating a “rolling milk carton.” The mission: place as many “recovery” posters as possible along the 3500 mile journey.  The 2007 Fireball Run helped to recover 12 missing children (Child Rescue Network.)

August 16th

Time for some serious mocking up.  At this stage, Tom works a lot with AutoCAD figuring out exactly how to engineer various parts to make the drive train work.   This video shows some of his CAD work and shows him explaining where what he is designing will actually fit on the trike.
Tuk Tuk Mockup - www.artinmotionllc.com Hi Ya'all!  It's August 11th.

We're back from Sturgis now with a first-place Trophy from the Prestigious Rat's Hole Custom Bike show for Flyin' Trike.   She's a beauty.  Guess the 4000 miles of driving was worth it?

Today, Tom mocked up the rear of the Tuk Tuk.  This frame is huge, but the result will be amazing.  Stay tuned for more mockup photos.  Check out our home page for a photo of Flyin' Trike in the Badlands of South Dakota.
The Frame is on the Lift - July 27, 2008
Read our Press Release (PRWEB)
Art In Motion's Tuk Tuk Wheel Wheel & Tire - tread pattern is the same as on the Art In Motion Flyin' Trike.
July 17, 2008.  Frame is complete, but still sitting in Canada. Thank you Rolling Thunder!  When you see an Art In Motion bike, you know it's solid because it is built on a Rolling Thunder Frame

Tom completed the frame design on 7/8/08 and sent it to our frame manufacturer Rolling Thunder Manufacturing. For more information on Rolling Thunder Manufacturing, please go to http://www.rollingthunderframes.com. They started the manufacturing of the frame on 7/10/08.  Since the design is inspired by a real Tuk Tuk, please see the Tuk Tuk North America website to see a stock Tuk Tuk. What we will be building will be similar with the following changes: It will be raked out front end and wide tires on the rear, (similar to our award winning trike on http://www.artinmotionllc.com/PressKits/Flyin/Flyin.htm). It will be configured for one driver’s seat in the front and a 2-passenger seat in the rear.
